Powerful emotions pour through the Lands, capable of driving even the bravest to their knees in Terror, causing the most calm of mind to be thrown into blinding Rage, and bringing soul-crushing Despair to even the most stalwart of individuals. While the ability to command these emotions and energies exist within all Lands creatures, a select few have absolutely mastered their potential, invoking, controlling, and driving these powerful emotions through not only the individuals they face, but causing even entire areas to succumb to the taint of their dark energy and emotions.

The Eshtan-ekkor have mastered the heaviest of Despair and Sorrows. Often accompanied by an otherworldly Coldness to their nature and air, their very presence seems to drain all forms of joy and enthusiasm from the creatures and places around them, leaving behind broken and lost shadows left to agonize and lament in their grief.

Quick Ref: Malady | Venimria | Ekrhines | Stone Angels | Tremdun

Malady

The very figurehead of Sorrow, Malady is respected as the commander over all eshtan-ekkor. Her very potential holds the most devastation of all the Sorrow minions, but she has instead chosen to give herself a mortal form to exist in as a way of limiting her powers, forcing her to use ability and tactics to compensate for her mortal weakness. This connection to mortals also makes her a strong candidate for demon-mortal relations, including those not of Lands Domain.

Venimria *Major*(Top)

The Coldness that accompanies the minions of Sorrow can be felt with the most intensity from Venimria. In her presence water freezes, frost overtakes all objects, air goes chill, and all life stops briefly, frozen over by her passing. Though not as high as Malady in the hierarchy, Venimria is still recognized as one of the most deadly of the eshtan-ekkor, and it is said that her passing soon after brings the arrival of Icon, the Reaper of souls.

Ekrhines *Lesser*(Top)

Sometimes visually mistaken for the more social Chamy, the Ekrhine appears often as a beautiful and sorrowful woman, luring their prey in through pity and desire, then feed from them by draining their life force. All that is left when they are done is a fragile, frozen husk of a body, so drained and delicate that it will shatter to dust at the slightest touch. These creatures are surrounded by an aura of cold that only seems to grow more intense as they feed.
Due to the fact that Ekrhines do not possess individual personalities and are not individually named, single images are instead used to represent multiple minions.

Stone Angels *Lesser*(Top)

Most commonly seen as landmarks within the Lands, the presence of a Stone Angel slowly drains away warmth and livelihood from the areas they sentry in. Within short exposure, the sun seems to shine a little less, and the air seems chilled. Over time an eerie silence weighs heavily within the area. Plants begin to wither and die and animals actively avoid the land tainted by an Angel. Over long enough exposure, no plants grow on Angelic ground, no amount of heat can truly bring warmth to the area, and all light within the Angels growing radius of influence seems oddly dulled. Animals avoid the area at all costs, even if it means self-harm. Weaker creatures caught in the area dash their brains out against any surface they can find. No life untouched by Lands domain can exist within the presence of an Angel for long.
Due to the fact that Stone Angels do not possess individual personalities and are not individually named, single images are instead used to represent multiple minions.

Tremdun - the Despaired *Lesser* (Top)

At times there have been mortals who have responded to the Sorrow of the Lands in curious and extreme ways. In some cases they have given themselves over entirely to the destruction of Despair, offering themselves to be taken by the Corruption of the Lands. And in some cases, the Lands responds, and accepts them. The result of this are the Despaired, their souls gone to the Corruption, they are mortals who have been transformed by the Lands into minions. Their personalities and minds remain their own, though highly warped they may be, and they become imbued with the drive of Sorrow.

As the Tremdun are individuals, their drive may manifest in a number of ways, and so at this time it is difficult to generalize how these minions may act or respond to mortals or other Lands-domain. The only thing that is known is that they continue to try and spread the Corruption and Sorrow of the Lands in their own, unique ways.
Even though Tremdun are individual, as a whole they do not seem to define themselves as highly unique from each other and instead act and move as a general clan. Very few even seem to chose *or retain* names for themselves, therefore single images may be used to represent multiple minions.
